Nationals – March 2025

Greetings Rockers ’N’ Rollers! I would like to dedicate this month’s article to my father Dr. Hillard R. Hoffman who passed away on February 21st. My Dad was an educator, an incredible person and a fantastic father. He enjoyed sports, family and everything Penn State. His interest in music consisted solely of Frank Sinatra – but he was always very supportive of my music passion. The gratitude I have for the life he gave me and life lessons he taught me is unmeasurable and follows me everyday.

For decades, her admirers would include Beck, Billy Corgan, Nick Cave and PJ Harvey, although her history would always be closely tied to the Stones and to the years she dated Mick Jagger. She and Jagger began seeing each other in 1966 and Faithfull once declared that if LSD “wasn’t meant to happen, it wouldn’t have been invented.” Their rejection of conventional values was widely publicized.
